Follow the route from shore to dock
Start with where boaters and visitors check in, buy supplies and meet their party. Mark gates, the office, parking and shared buildings on the marina plan. Access can vary during the day, so ask when a guest can reach each space. The best position serves the actual visitor route rather than sending people through a controlled gate to find a charger.
Check whether guests can reach the common area from parking and from the dock without asking staff to unlock a door. If access is limited, explain those limits before a visitor begins a rental.
Choose a sheltered location
Consider a marina office or other approved indoor common area with reliable power and a stable surface. Keep the station away from water exposure and clear of doorways, counters and accessible routes. Review weather protection and electrical requirements with the marina and Juiceboxx. The venue charging guide provides a starting point; the site team decides what its facility permits.
A visitor arriving by car and someone returning from a boat may approach the office from opposite directions. Walk both routes with the marina team. Look at where guests stop with bags or supplies and leave room for them without interrupting the flow through the building.
Keep charging portable
Guests use the Juiceboxx app to rent a power bank with built-in cables and carry it with their phone. They can continue with their plans without leaving a phone at a wall outlet. The rental guide explains how a rental starts. Keep the phone, cable and power bank protected from water, and follow the marina’s rules when moving around docks.
Make access hours visible
A position inside an office works only while guests can enter it. Add accurate access hours to guest information and tell the dock or office team where to direct visitors. If a gate or building closes before guests return from the water, make that limit clear. Review seasonal hours too, rather than assuming the same access plan works throughout the year.
Help visitors plan a return
A power bank can be returned to any Juiceboxx station within 48 hours. Before leaving, guests should identify an accessible return location and check its hours. The station finder shows current locations, and the return guide explains the process. A departure checklist can point guests to that information without promising a station at their next destination.
Brief the staff who answer visitor questions so they can point to the right entrance. Keep the station information alongside the marina's other guest directions and update it when access changes.
Start the hosting conversation
Share the marina’s layout, proposed sheltered location, power access, guest hours and seasonal schedule. Include the person who can approve equipment in the building. Hosting costs the venue $0; commission is by agreement. The hosting cost guide explains the model. Confirm the arrangement before adding the station to marina materials.
