Count available sockets, not installed ones
Walk the shared desks when the space is occupied. An outlet used by a laptop is not available to the phone beside it. Check lounge seats and call areas too; a socket at a dedicated desk does nothing for someone taking a private call elsewhere.
A rented power bank travels with the phone between those spaces. It is a phone-charging option, not a substitute for the desk power members need for their laptops. The outlet comparison helps separate those needs.
Day-pass members have a different starting point
A regular member knows which desk has spare power and what to pack. A day-pass visitor may arrive between appointments with a low phone battery and no knowledge of the floor. Meeting-room guests have the same problem without a regular desk to return to.
Mention the station during the workspace introduction. Describe it as an optional paid rental, not a benefit included in the day pass or room booking. Give visitors the rental overview before they settle in.
Keep it outside booked rooms
Choose a visible shared area between reception, the desk floor, and the meeting-room corridor. Someone should be able to start a rental without interrupting a meeting or entering a quiet call booth. Leave room to stop without narrowing the route.
A station inside a booked room disappears from use whenever the door closes. Check the proposed spot during meeting changeovers, when guests with bags gather in the corridor, rather than judging it from an empty floor.
The community team points; the app handles payment
Members rent in the Juiceboxx app. The price is $2 per 30 minutes, capped at $12 per 24-hour day, with a $20 card hold released on return. That is separate from workspace fees.
Community staff never collect power banks or take rental payments. They can show a member where the station stands without adding a deposit, charger sign-out sheet, or rental charge to a meeting-room invoice.
Test returns against visitor access
Do not assume a day-pass guest has the same door access as a full member. Check whether someone leaving an evening meeting can reach the station after reception closes. A return route behind a member-only door needs attention before placement.
Renters have a 48-hour return window and can return to any Juiceboxx station. Direct visitors to the return guide; leaving a power bank with the community team is not a station return.
Screen messages belong in shared areas
Station screens can carry advertising for local businesses and sponsors. In a coworking space, assess that alongside the room's working purpose. A screen near reception is easier to separate from focused desk work than one facing a row of call booths.
A nearby lunch spot or a networking-event sponsor is a natural fit for that screen. Use digital screen advertising for context and contact Juiceboxx to discuss it.
Judge fit before adding another amenity
Hosting costs $0, with no setup, placement, or installation fee. Juiceboxx services the station, and venue commission is set by the hosting agreement for that location. The hosting cost guide explains the distinction between free hosting and paid rentals.
A shared office with spare outlets at every seat and members who stay at assigned desks is a poor fit. For a review, send the desk layout, meeting-room use, visitor access hours, and the places where phone-charging requests occur through host a station.
