Follow the wedding day
Guests may arrive for a ceremony, move to cocktails, then spend the evening at dinner and dancing. Their phones help them take photos, find family and arrange a ride. Look at the whole route rather than only the reception room. A clear plan gives guests a place to find help without pulling the couple or the planner away from the celebration.
Walk the route again after the ceremony layout and reception seating are set. A clear path on an empty floor plan can become a busy passage once guests, staff and furniture are in place.
Choose a discreet, reachable location
Consider a lobby or reception entrance guests pass on the way to the celebration. The location needs power and enough room for someone to stop without obstructing the accessible route, service staff or a receiving line. Discuss the position with the venue before placing it on a floor plan. A station in a room that closes during the reception will be hard to use later.
A venue that hosts more than one celebration in a day should also check whether the position serves each event without sending guests through another party’s space. Review the floor plan with catering and the person responsible for setup before the room is dressed.
Let guests keep their phones
A guest rents a portable power bank through the Juiceboxx app and takes it along while the phone charges. The phone stays with its owner, rather than being left at a wall outlet. Guests can return to their table or take photos while keeping the cable and power bank together. The rental guide walks through the steps and charges.
Give the planner a simple message
A small note in guest information or a direction from the welcome table can explain where the station is. Tell the planner, venue manager and guest-facing staff the same location. Avoid promising a station in invitations until the venue and Juiceboxx have confirmed the arrangement. The event placement guide explains what to include in a request.
Think about the end of the night
Check the route to parking and rideshare pickup, including which doors remain open after dancing ends. Guests can return a power bank to any Juiceboxx station within 48 hours, but need to reach an open location. The return guide explains the process. Make the return point easy to find before guests leave, especially when the event uses a separate exit.
Ask when vendors can enter and when the building closes. A planner can then include the station in the timeline without assigning a guest to manage rentals.
Start with the venue
For a recurring wedding venue, share the layout, event calendar, operating hours and proposed power location. For a single event, ask about availability and timing before including charging in the plan. Hosting costs $0; venue commission is by agreement. The event venue guide covers broader venue planning, while the venue placement guide covers station placement.
