Plan portable phone charging around the event journey

Event venues can give attendees a self-serve charging option that moves with them. The right plan starts with the event format, guest flow, station visibility, and a clear return path.

Start with the event, not a generic station count

A conference, festival, arena event, and private gathering create different movement patterns. The useful starting point is therefore the attendee journey: how people enter, where they spend time, when they move, and how they leave. Those details help Juice Boxx assess whether portable charging fits the venue and where a station may be useful.

Renters use the Juice Boxx app to access a portable charger from a station. They keep the charger and phone with them, then return the charger to a station. This can support an active event without creating a fixed area where attendees must wait beside an outlet or leave a phone unattended.

Match the plan to the venue type

Stadiums and arenas need to account for entrances, concourses, seating areas, concessions, and large departure periods. Conferences and trade shows may center on registration, exhibit halls, session corridors, and multi-day schedules. Festivals and music events add outdoor boundaries, crowd movement, and end-of-event return planning.

Other event spaces can use the same review method. Juice Boxx considers the venue, audience, schedule, public areas, expected rental demand, and current station options. A venue category may suggest questions, but it does not determine placement on its own.

Review placement and return flow together

A station should be visible and approachable without obstructing lines, service points, or required routes. Possible locations depend on the property. Lobbies, concourses, prefunction spaces, information areas, and other shared zones may be discussed when the venue controls them and the event plan allows access.

Return planning belongs in the same conversation. Attendees need a reasonable way to find a station before they leave the controlled event area. Venue teams should describe departure patterns, closing procedures, restricted zones, and any transportation queues that affect the final part of the rental. Juice Boxx confirms the placement only after reviewing those conditions.

Keep the staff role limited and clear

Venue employees do not collect rental payments or hand out individual chargers. The renter uses the app and follows the station instructions. Staff may direct a guest to the station area or explain that the charger must return to a station, but the venue does not need to operate a manual checkout desk.

A short staff reference can cover the approved location, the app-based starting point, the return requirement, and the support path shown through the rental experience. This is more useful than asking each employee to interpret the service independently. Juice Boxx and the venue can confirm the appropriate staff-facing information during onboarding.

Separate the venue review from the sponsor campaign

Event organizers and sponsors may request advertising on approved Juice Boxx station screens. The advertising review covers the campaign objective, event dates, audience, current screens, placement context, creative, schedule, and price. It does not replace the venue placement review.

Keeping the two decisions separate prevents a sponsor request from being treated as confirmed station inventory. Organizers can use the event advertising planner to prepare the campaign details. Juice Boxx confirms availability and terms before any screen campaign is approved.

Send a complete event venue inquiry

Include the venue and event names, location, dates, event type, attendance range, schedule, floor plan or site map if available, likely public areas, and the operational contact. State whether the request concerns one event, a recurring series, or an ongoing venue program. Note any access, branding, power, connectivity, or placement restrictions the venue already knows.

Temporary and permanent placements are evaluated case by case. Juice Boxx confirms current options, responsibilities, and next steps after reviewing the information. Start with the venue inquiry. Sponsors and advertisers should use the advertising inquiry so each request reaches the correct path.

Before you host.

  • Different event formats need different placement and return plans
  • Venue staff direct guests but do not administer rentals
  • Venue placement and sponsor advertising receive separate reviews
