Start with the gate that stays open last
Walk the proposed route as a departing family, not as a member of staff with access through service gates. Put the stroller ahead of you in that mental picture. A station visible from admissions might sit behind a barrier once the entrance lanes close, while the exit stream runs past a different side of the building. Mark that change on the placement plan before choosing a prominent morning position.
a station behind a closed admission gate is not a usable return point for a family already outside. Moving the return opportunity onto the departure route addresses that failure before it becomes a conversation between an attendant and a guest trying to reach the parking lot.
